Overwhelming, Overpowering, Overreacting

A thousand more thoughts fill my already full head. It’s overwhelming.

I never really thought I’d find myself trapped in the middle of something I had hoped I left far, far behind. I had started to believe that I was on the road of finding a sort of happy place. Okay, I admit — I’m still hopeful. But this over-powering pull of depression is comparable to a force adhering to the law of gravity. There’s no sense in fighting. There’s no escaping it.

I guess I’m never meant to get to where I wanted to go, stay where I want to stay, or live the kind of life I’ve always dreamt of.

Then again, I may just be over-reacting.

Sighs.

don’t let anyone, even yourself, crush your dreams and aspirations.

Perhaps the good influences in your lives need to make themselves more apparent, so that at least you’ll have less bad things to worry about/remember.

    Look at the bright side.

The first thing you do when you wake up tomorrow is to think of all the things you are thankful to God for like your new blog home, friends who care for you, being able to write and rant.. you get the drift.

The last thing you do before settling to sleep is do the same thing you did upon waking up.

That for me put things in perspective.

    Dwell and accentuate the positive.

Chris: Thanks! Will do my best. :)

Rico: Do you mean people with a positive influence? I reckon you’re right. I should just spend more time with people who edify my life. :)

Jun: I understand what you mean. But you’ve got to agree that, sometimes, our perspective gets screwed up from time to time even when you make an effort to always see the brighter side of a situation. Let’s just say it’s one of those days that I’m letting off *steam* or *ranting* so to speak. :)

Er, you’re making head hurt even more.. =P
