Quite funny thing happened earlier. Can any of you guess? Heehee.
Pffft. Fine. It’s TLA (text link ads). I’ve had this account since early 2006. I enrolled just to see what the fuss is all about and yea, to check on how much my problogs are worth. Ha. Well, since I started The Parody back in 2005, it wasn’t monetized. It was hosted on wordpress.com, which didn’t allow users to do just that. And my other blogs were on Blogger, which unfortunately TLA didn’t have codes for. Sigh. Breaks, huh?
TLA is known to only approve PR5 blogs. So, imagine my surprise when I submitted this URL (my blog is only at PR4) and I immediately was able to generate the code and *cough* install it. Hehe. Can anyone tell me if they lowered the cut-off?
I’m not saying I’ll be raking in the big bucks but, hey, this blog has now income generating possibilities (better than nothing, right?) and I find that cool! (says she who’s been problogging for more than a year now. LOL.) I’ll probably put in them Adsense codes down the road. BUT I want to change my template first! Gah.
Anyone on TLA who’s willing to share their, er, frustrations experiences?
I’m sure there are some out there since I heard from a couple of people who voiced out their skepticism on TLA‘s effectiveness.
Come on, out with it. LOL.

I don’t think they lowered their standard. I’ve been running TLA ads on my blog even if it had a PR4 rank before. Your blog must have gotten some good back links, that’s why TLA got your blog in to their system. =)
anyways, good luck. hope you get some good TLA inventory soon!
Congratulations!
Now you’ll be able to treat me out with your TLA earnings… kidding!
Arnold: Thanks for pointing that out! I reckon that even when my domain is just 3 months old and I hardly updated it the past 3 months, it still generated almost 500% increase in backlinks. So cool!
Thanks again and I hope both our blogs be as lucrative as it can be! Hehehe.
Rico: Thanks po! I often do naman eh! Like you do!
Congrats sa TLA! It can be a real money-earner if you play your cards well, hehehe. I use it as my emergency fund/life savings, para kung sakaling mag-asawa na ko. Hahaha!
Markku: Now there’s a thought! TLA for marriage — yours at that! Ha!
Thanks, man! Perhaps you can teach me how to get them to advertise, eh? Heehee.
