By far, this is my favorite photo of myself with my Digital Rebel XTi, aka 400D. It was taken by my good friend, Jal, when we were hanging out one night at Starbuck’s (GB1) after watching Dreamgirls over at Greenbelt 3 Cinemas, Makati City.
On this photo, my Rebel is sporting the EF-S 18-55 kit lens.
AND there are other photos that I liked, too! Let me grab and post some for ‘ya.
Here are two photos by Abe Olandres of Yugatech:

Here are two photos by Markku Seguerra of rebelpixel.com:

These photos were taken during the Photo Day with Bloggers at the Balloon Fiesta in Clarkfield, Pampanga. Here are the rest of the other photos of my Rebel and I, still taken by the two guys.

You’ll see that in most of the photos, my 400D was sporting the EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens I bought with the camera except on one photo (the one Yuga took, left photo), Markku lent me his *dunno the specs* but all I know is that it was the polarizer lens. It’s the one I used to take the photo you see on the right.
I think I already told you about it on the Balloon Fiesta post.
Last night, Rico expressed his desire to find ways on how to support my new-found hobby. He enumerated some ideas such as, taking me to places that are photo-worthy, buying me equipment (yea, baby! I’d love that! Kidding. Kidding.
), etc. I have to admit, I was a bit surprised at his thoughtfulness and was ready to brainstorm but, of course, he’s not obligated to financially support my hobby. By principle, I can’t and will never expect that from him or from anybody.
Anyway, I know it isn’t much but simply thinking about cameras, photography and people I get to share this interest with and ones who are supportive of it makes everything (yes, the cost included!) worthwhile, wouldn’t you agree?
Do you have a hobby of your own that you get to share with other people? Come on, let’s talk!

Buying equipment ha?
Well, I’m sure you know what hobbies I’m into. Definitely not blogging, since it’s turning out to be a career. I’m into acting goofy, and making people welcome. I’m a flesing fersonality!
Hehe. Seriously, I’d be into games, but thanks to our busy schedule, it’s been a while since I’ve wasted hours on accomplishing things virtually.
But thanks to our fellow bloggers, I’m now into goodminton. And I can’t wait to participate in blogger basketball!
Rico: So, does that mean I’m saved from buying you gaming consoles? Yay! I can’t wait for blogger basketball! I wonder who’ll sign up for it?
Damn, those are nice pics. Makes me want to get a Rebel too.
Jozzua: Go, go, go! Go get!
The photos turned out great cuz Abe and Markku are good photographers and the Rebel’s a fabulous subject!
Will you be taking pictures so blogsketball or playing? Both I think. THis will be a test of sports photography too.
Jun: Oh, I’ll definitely be playing, however, I will also try to take some photos, too! I actually have been trying sports photography during the Blogger Badminton Nights, still learning, though.
Is this entry really about Rico buying you photography gear? :p
Markku, it is. Heheh
Markku: Gah. The point’s lost on you.
Are you blind?! It’s about the photo, silly! ROFL.
Jozzua:
Hmpft.
Nice camera. And handled like a pro.
Armand: Aw, shucks! Thanks! I know I’m a long way off from being a pro but thinking about getting to be one is pretty exciting. Lots of work to better my skills, still.
*sob*
your cam made me cry. ahlahvet!
Kristine: Awww.. There. There.
I’ll make sure to take loads of photos of you when we see each other! REAL SOON!
