It’s Passion, Sweetie
All this traveling is creating havoc in my work schedule. I’m way behind and cramming to meet deadlines. I’m currently on my 28th hour. Oh yes. I haven’t had sleep. I’m tired and cranky. I’m squeezing my brain for more writing juice. Earlier, I actually almost fell asleep in front of the laptop — thrice! (and counting..
)
/sighs
Too many distractions. Too many things crammed in my activity calendar. Too much stuff going on. And, not to mention, pests keep popping up. Grrr.
To all who voiced their apparent longing for the kind of life you guys think I lead, I’m telling you now. There’s nothing to be envious about. It’s crazy. It’s taxing. It sometimes is highly irritating. Enjoy the relaxed, moderately paced life. Be thankful for the time you have to spend with your family and friends. Be glad that you have a steady job.
However, if you feel that you want a life that’s passion-driven, go on and leap. If it’s real passion that fuels you to do even the inanities but find fulfillment every step of the way, know that I’m rooting for you. It may be difficult at times and, heck, you’ve got to learn how to be flexible and patient in a highly volatile work environment.
Don’t get me wrong. I may be whinging my head off here but, hey, I’m just letting off steam. No biggie.
No worries, mate. I’ll revert back to my somewhat normal self in a bit. Ta.

Even real passionate people should realize that their body can only take so much before it rebels. Even the will’s mastery over the physical has its limits.
Rico: Do you really even care? What do you know about real passion? Passion means SACRIFICE. What have you given or done that can be equated to offering your life for the sake of your neighbour? You always focus on the limitations and not stretching it.
I’m not saying that we should sacrifice our passion for a few hours of more sleep. But I know some people who blindly follow their passion without paying attention to the practicalities. It is clear that passion always involves sacrifice (I’m sure you know what I’ve sacrificed for my passion), but sometimes too much sacrifice makes it harder to achieve our dreams.
Rico: Perhaps you’re sacrificing the wrong thing that’s why you’re having difficulties in realising your dreams.
And how do you know I’m having difficulties in realizing my dreams?
Rico: Do you really want me to answer that? Fine. Cuz I’m psychic. Ask JayJay! Heh.
It’s JJ!
Well, I just realized that difficulty is a part of life. And besides, you know I’ve achieved some of my dreams.
for a moment there. i was tensed! =)
Xtina: I wouldn’t say I’m surprised.
