I've been on postpaid line for 5 years now, and I still don't see any outstanding perks aside from the fact that I can make calls anytime (as long as I pay my bills religiously) and with slightly cheaper rates. Well, the postpaid line also came in handy back when I was a heavy mobile phone user. But ever since I gave up corporate work and resorted to domesticity, I am no longer able to consume my basic plan. The boo boo side is, I still have to pay for the entire enchilada and I can't downgrade to a cheaper monthly plan! Sure, I can get a new phone unit every 2 years, but I'd rather save on the bills than have a new toy. I'm not that crazy over cell phones anyway. ;-) I might be switching back to prepaid come July/August. My husband is still on postpaid line though because he needs it for work. Free load is L-O-V-E! I prefer to have prepaid than having a monthly plan. But here in the US, it's more practical to have a plan than use prepaid.
