The So-called System and the So-called Love
By The Parodist | August 3, 2007
I’m trying to make sense of things.
The law set some guidelines to achieve order in all matters legal. A person can only abide to it. However, when caught with a technicality — bypassing a step, perhaps — it’s taken in stride and dropped. Now, what the hell is that? Is this the system that’s sworn to protect us? What power money can give you, eh? Funny, cuz the system is siding with the one without. Heh. Or perhaps they simply believe that they can squeeze everything out of this idiotic twat? Scumbags. All of them.
Another thing, isn’t it such a hypocritical thing for a person to claim he’s anointed to become a pastor — training himself to be one, no less — but physically abuses and threatens his child’s life? He’d have time and energy to serve the church but refuses to support his own family? Moreover, he’d say that he’d adamantly say “There’s only one woman I’ve loved in my life” to his audience one minute then say “Oh, she’s didn’t really go to doctor like she said she did, she’s out there squandering our money” the next.
To top it all off, out of this great love, he has taken her to court for — get this — alimony and accuses her to be a liar and a thief.
I’d rather be unloved and alone than be loved by someone like this, wouldn’t you?
P.S. Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Where is he training to be a pastor? I think outing him to the congregation is a great thing to go. And no matter how good a system of law is, greed will always rear its ugly head.

Rico: Some nondescript church in the boondocks perhaps? Who cares? Why even bother? He can’t hide or make excuses forever. Ah, yes. Greed is the bottomline of this whole thing. Bleh.

AnP: Yea, when something like this — something that’s totally beyond my reach — happens, that certainly is something I can or, perhaps, should do. But the thing with Karma, di kaya ako balikan nun? Hehe. Vicious cycle, Karma is. Gah.

Sense and sanity are two different words that may coincide with each other. It’s ok to try to make sense out of things sometimes, just don’t overdo it.

Sam: I reckon that’s quite possible, sense is always expected from sane people. However, there are things that need analysing in order for an individual to function well in the society he or she lives in — esp in the society that they live in.
