Just saying hello to new acquaintances who might be dropping by this blog, fresh off the two blog events I’ve managed to find myself in the past week.

Quick shout out to them people who are seen in the photo mosaic:

From the Taste Asia Event, Part Deux held last Thursday, 23 August 2007 at Taste Asia, Mall of Asia: Joey, Marcelle, Sorsi, Mike, Rico, TJ, Jayvee and AJ (I’m so looking forward to hanging out with you more often).

Of course, I also want to say hi to Lauren, Aileen, Noemi, Markku, Karl and Mimi, Jonas, Ely, Juned, Mikey, Ade, and Noel.

Feel free to ping me if we met during this event, I may have spaced out a bit. Eeep.

From the Motorola RAZR 2 Dinner, courtesy of Motorola & Ogilvy, held the following day, Friday, 24 August 2007 at Mezze, Greenbelt 2, Makati City (I went there as a date, heh): Chris, Abe, Rico, Jayvee, ApplesH and ones who aren’t in the photos, Kiven, Mike (again). Surprisingly, I spotted Marc and Sharm walking towards Mezze near midnight. Bummer that my date and I had to bounce just when the rest of the party were about to hit Temple. Sigh. Plus I heard that there were others who followed and hung out till 4am. I totally missed it. Double sigh. But, heck, I know I was entertaining on our way home, at least. Can you imagine listening to this kind of conversation in the car?

Me: “Why are the clouds following us?”
Him: “No, they’re just far up that it seems like it’s doing so”
Me: “No, look. The clouds look like they’re moving to keep up. They’re following us.”
Him: “No, they’re not. Period.”
(translation: “you’re just drunk, dear”) ;)

Anyway, this past week has been the busiest in August. Remarkable.

Oh well… at least the killjoy provided some entertainment on the way home! :P
I wonder, with so many events, do “active” bloggers have time for anything else?

Missed the event! Hopefully next time! With your conversation in the car, nothing beats star/sky gazing under the influence of alcohol. Hahaha! :) A refreshing break from the stressful world, for a few hours, at least.
