To Do: Reach 100 lbs!
By The Parodist | November 16, 2007
I’m currently at a sad weight of 83 lbs. Egad. But before you go and judge me, please know that I’m not suffering any eating disorder like anorexia or bulimia. I just have poor eating and sleeping habits. Or so Rico says. But, begrudgingly, I have to admit that yea, my body clock’s all screwed up and I do forego eating sometimes esp when I’m too engrossed with work. I often find myself thinking that I can always eat later after all of my work’s done but next thing I know I have to do something else or I just want to hit the sack and sleep. We all know that we don’t sleep well if we go to bed hungry so you end up sleeping less or ending up not being fully rested, hence, feeling more tired, which can affect your appetite. See the problem now? It’s actually a vicious cycle. Sigh.
Well, I guess I need to come up with a plan. Here it is!
Eat
Exercise
Eat
Multivits
Eat
Sleep more
Eat
Quit smoking
Eat
Water, Water, Water!
I’ve been playing Badminton every week for the past couple of months, which is a great start. I’m still planning to enroll myself in a gym, take a boxing class or something. I take multivitamins now, er, whenever I remember to take them, at least (it’s more frequent than you think!). And I’m teaching myself to drink more water than my usual drink preference — I’m a Coke addict, you see. I can’t seem to get over the inclination to drink it even it’s so early in the morning. Gah. Oh, yea. I’m working towards quiting the bad habit of smoking. Yay for me! I’ll let you know once I do. There’s a reason why I haven’t yet. Patience, please. Heh.
And in terms of eating more — Rico has gotten into this habit of pushing me to do it. Even when I try to tell him that the act of forcing food down my throat triggers the gag reflex. I plead, plead, plead but to no avail. I guess I have to cooperate and pray to God that I won’t make a mess of things. That would be so embarrassing. Ack. I know he means well and I appreciate it. I just hope this thing works out and help me gain the pounds I need to reach my goal.
Wish me luck!

Hehe, like I said, our goals are opposite: you reach a hundred, I’ll drop below 2.

I reckon this qualifies under the “opposites attract” theory, yeah?
We can do it!

I want to reach a hundred too…but from [insert higher than 100 pounds weight here]. Ack.
I better get exercising again.

“I just have poor eating and sleeping habits. Or so Rico says.” - that’s the same thing TJ told me
LOL I posted an entry about gaining weight yesterday. From 98lbs I went down to 92. But I eat a lot I swear. Also, I remember you saying you were 88lbs at Taste Asia. Feh!

It can only mean I lost 5 lbs since then. I’ve got paper to prove my current weight.

Do you want my 20lbs excess weight? mwihihihi! I posted about this yesterday and hopefully by december i’m back to my, 120lbs-after-college weight. Good luck to us.
Hey, the trial offer at Slimmers is still with me. I’m going tomorrow morning for the belly dancing and yogilates class, hehehe. Sama ka?

Mel: You and Rico both, heh. Belly dancing?! I can see myself now — WOOT!
I’m going out tonight eh. Can’t. Sniff.
I wish I could binge eat.
I love eating. I heard from a friend that she gained weight by going to the gym, too. I guess it’s a great idea, yeah?
Sophie: Thanks Sophie!

Maybe we need to lipo some fat from Rico and insert it to you. Makes the line “two become one” a tad bit gross, ain’t it? :-p
November 17th, 2007 at 5:55 pm
Believe me, Rico had already suggested that a million times. And, YES, the idea is utterly gross! Yech.

Hey! Just drop a privy message when you’re ready ;). naks!
If only those stubborn fats go to places where it will be much appreciated (like our boobs and butt!) then I’m not even gonna whine if I weigh 140lbs! HAHAHAHA!!!!
November 18th, 2007 at 3:39 pm
Yea, problem is, most of the time they go straight to our thighs and tummies, eh? I just want an extra 20 lbs!
